Hi Danielle, Many thanks for choosing to follow me at Pen And Paper. A wonderful blog you have here, so colourful which is just what I need after 3 days of almost constant rain.

Such a pity we no longer have any little one's in the family, there are some amazing children's books out there and especially at Christmas. Nice to meet you.

I agree with Shannon, I love the look of this site! Thanks for such great details on the book! I usually buy my nieces and nephews, a book for Christmas. This is a great idea!

Gina - Thanks! It's really nice to have a series that has carried on from my childhood and now into my own kiddos.

Shannon - Thank you so much! We've been working hard on the site and it's nice to have things up and going finally. I will have to check out the McElroy book, I'm always looking for new things to share with the kiddos that's fun, but helpful as well.

I think I told you already, but I just love the look of this site!! So cute! My kids have all enjoyed this series, too. It's a safe pick if you need a sure-thing. :)

For some playful holiday fun with words, check out The Great Mizzariddle by Roland McElroy. It's a very creative Christmas story that plays with silly word combinations. For example, if someone is smart and intelligent, he's smelligent. The North Pole becomes the Nole. My daughter LOVES it! :)
