Danny the Dragon by Tina Turbin is a delightful book that children of all ages will love. Danny and his traveling companion, Skipper, are quite the pair. They travel in a conch shell and come and go with a spray of a little water. You can tell they’ve been fabulous places and have many more adventures to go. From beginning to end, Danny and Skipper are polite, friendly and so much fun that every child’s imagination will soar with excitement as they read the beginnings of this wonderful tale.

“Kids can sometimes struggle with the simple things, like please and thank you,  when to go to bed and the like. In Danny the Dragon Tina Turbin has blended a beautiful story with a wonderful message of respect and politeness. This isn’t something only accomplished by the magical characters or the children, but the parents as well. Every character in the book shows respect and kindness for the others and when children read it they will instantly pick up on the little subtlety’s.

“We received our copy of the book along with a DVD and a CD. The DVD incorporates the telling of the book with sign interpretation for the deaf, but almost any child will love the affect. My Littlebug watched the entire DVD without hardly blinking, she loved seeing all the neat illustrations on the big screen right in front of her! As fans of most any music the CD has also been a huge hit as well. The classical pieces especially hit a chord with my background in my professional flute training and the kids just loved dancing to it.

“This is definitely a book for children of all ages and it’s wonderful that there are so many ways to enjoy it available. Pick it up for the toddler in your life and enjoy it right along with them. Danny and his friend Skipper are sure to delight, bring a smile to little faces and teach a few valuable lessons. I know our household is definitely looking forward to future adventures with the two!”
