mondayrecapreading

This fabulous weekly recap is hosted by Shelia of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books. Each week we recap what we’ve read and look at what’s coming up this week. If you’re interested head over to Shelia’s site and get involved! It’s a blast and I may even stop by to see what you’re up to!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week has been crazy! We ended up having to buy a new car and had a BIG announcement here on the site. So, this week we’re hoping for some fabulous reading and relaxation time! How about you?

“Having to buy a new car” does not sound good.

I don’t really know any of your books, but the cover of How Do Dinosaurs looks like a lot of fun!

    Enjoy your books this week!

    • Thanks so much, I’m really hoping to. The car was more of an unexpected nicety. We had planned on purchasing our lease and ended up just picking up a new one instead. Worked out nicely, but was a little bit of a hassle.

I’m looking forward to all the kids book reviews you have planned. And I’ll be interested in hearing what you think of Ima Somebody. I knew my kindergartner wasn’t ready for it, but wonder what moms of older kids may think.

I love the picture on your profile, the heart/hands/feet. Love baby feet. Love babies. It’s a good thing I have a couple of grandchildren!

The How Dinosaurs…books by Jan Yolen are wonderful books. Most of the ones that I’ve read are quick and simple, yet very cute. The grandbabies love them too.

Hope you enjoy your new car, if not the payments (heehee), but it must me very nice to have a care that doesn’t have any non-working parts.
