It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (14)

May 9th, 2010 by the1stdaughter

This fabulous weekly recap is hosted by Shelia of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books. Each week we recap what we’ve read and look at what’s coming up this week. If you’re interested head over to Shelia’s site and get involved! It’s a blast and I may even stop by to see what you’re up to!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week has been fun! We’ve been reading like crazy and were able to get quite a bit done around the house. Also, yesterday (Sunday), I announced the exciting event Arm Chair BEA. It’s for those of us not able to make it to BEA this year, but still craving that fabulous interaction and networking. We also made some changes to the site! Tell me, what do you think? Something you think needs changing? Colors not quite right? I’m definitely looking for input on this as we are in the throws of changing, now is the time to speak up! Thank you!

  1. Wow what a great week you had and a huge one coming up! I really need to get reading the Cast books. I see them everywhere and have yet to read one by P.C. or the ones with her daughter. I’m so square! Hehe.

I think the Armchair BEA site is awesome. What a great idea. I really wish I was going! Crossing my fingers for next year.

Happy reading and have a great week!

  2. Arm Chair BEA? LOve it! What a fun idea! :) Enjoy your reading this week!

  5. You had a great week and by the looks of your new books you have some great titles. I read the Magic Half and found it to be a cute lover middle school read. I also got Guardian of the Dead in the mail and read your review. Hoping I like it. I will be interested in how you like The Eternal Ones. Have a great week.

I think your website looks great now. I believe it was good even before, but now it gives me a Google feel! Just one suggestion – maybe you could change the color of the hyperlinks – I guess they clash with the background blue as well. But otherwise, I really have nothing to say. Good job!! :)

Wow.. I am jealous looking at that stack of books!! Have a good week, Danielle! :)
