This has been an incredibly relaxing week, what with the huge weight lifted last week, things seem to be looking better and better everyday. That’s not to say I haven’t been busy, definitely not! I’m getting ready for the upcoming Arm Chair BEA that myself and a few others organized to gather together those of us looking to enjoy BEA (Book Expo America) from the comfort of our own homes.     • That sounds like so much fun! I love meeting authors and learning more about what’s behind the books. Can’t wait to hear how that goes! I’ll keep you posted on the review!

  18. My Name is Memory is one that I have wanted to read. I loved her Traveling pants series.


    • You know, this might be sad to admit, but I only put together that she is the author of the Traveling Pants series last night. Now I’m even more excited to read My Name Is Memory, it should be great!

A cheerleader gets to make the rounds on all the sites and leaves lots of comments. It should be a great experience! Can’t wait to see you there!

    Judith – I LOVE chick lit! You should check out the other site I review for Chick Lit Reviews. It’s great and has books from both the US and UK. I’ve really enjoyed writing there.

    I love Mo Willems books and he has this really great philosophy about character design particularly for children. I did part of my thesis on his website, and he has a section devoted to Cat the Cat that you might enjoy with your kids.

    I think we have Russell the sheep in our school library. Russell has to count until he finally falls asleep. I love the pictures in the book, and the kids really enjoyed the story.
