"You tell me, what do you think of all the high school love triangles? Normal? Just in books? Exaggerated? Why do you think they’re so popular recently?"

I couldn't agree more with all the rest - these love triangles are highly unusual - I've met them only in fiction; real girls are more than happy to have just one steady boyfriend, period. Real boys are not so stupid to have more than one girlfriend too. Of course a super-heroine might have three boyfriends at a time but it sound unrealistic and was written to make her stick out a bit from the crowd of similar fictional characters.

I enjoyed your review, by the way!

They are really fun reads, I highly recommend them if you are looking for something quick and entertaining.

That's too funny about your daughters! I'm not sure how I'll feel about it when Littlebug gets a bit older, but I'll just have to see I guess.

I keep hearing about the Cast's books and I need to pick one up to get in on the action. I don't remember any love triangles in high school unless you count my best friend always going out with the guys that I liked. Of course, since I never told her that I liked them, they were fair game.

My step daughters have always played it pretty cool with relationships, which sort of bums me out. I looked forward to dishing about boys with them and they are way too level headed. I wish that I was that smart at that age!

Yes, definitely a fantasy I think. I'm sure it happens occasionally like you mentioned, but not near to the extent it does in recent books.
