There's A Book

This fabulous weekly recap is hosted by Shelia of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books. Each week we recap what we’ve read and look at what’s coming up this week. If you’re interested head over to Shelia’s site and get involved! It’s a blast and I may even stop by to see what you’re up to!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

I would be lying if I told you last week wasn’t busy, just take a look below and you’ll see why. Besides all the fun things below we’ve been spending a lot of time reading and out at the park trying to work out those wiggles before the sun runs away!

This week marked the beginning of quite a few new giveaways here at There’s A Book! Make sure to stop by the Giveaway Page to make sure you’ve entered all of them. One I’d be particularly interested in having you enter is the “Karma Doesn’t Bite for Book Bloggers” contest. I’d love to share the book blogging love and have either my blog name or a friends end up in one of Stacy Kramer and Valerie Thomas new books. So check it out! Not to mention I have a HUGE Karma Bites Giveaway starting later today, do come back, you won’t want to miss it!

Also, if you missed the posts this week you’ll see that I’ve recently started a Tuesday “New Book Releases” Feature. Each Tuesday you can stop by to find out which books were released THAT day in Children’s, Middle Grade and Young Adult genres. Then link up any reviews you may have for the books just out! I can’t wait to read all the great reviews and add to your TBR piles!

Lastly, if there is one review you should read this week here at There’s A Book it should definitely be my review of Presenting Lenore’s husband’s book Is Your Buffalo Ready for Kindergarten?. Her husband was the illustrator for the book and it’s a huge hit in our home! Besides, you have a chance to win a copy! So take a look!

I need to get through my library books before the textbooks arrive. Here’s what I’m reading this week.

As usual, you have a wonderful group of books listed. I have to admit that I only read one book this week to my grandson. He only lets me read to him when I’m babysitting him. When daddy’s around he’s more likely to be hanging around with daddy. I can’t blame him though, he only gets to see his daddy 2 overnights a week, and on one of them, he gets stuck with grandma so daddy can go to work. That’s when we have our book fests though. :)

  6. Another great week. I will definitely have to check out all your reviews this week. Good luck with the Karma Bites, thinking about doing it myself, but have to finish my followers giveaway first.
