There's A Book

Book Dreaming is just that. It’s a feature I’m going to use to highlight those books that make you dreamy or possibly just end up making you dream about them. It could be anything from newly released books to one’s that are already out that I can’t get out of my head to those I can’t seem to get my hands on soon enough!

My choice this go around? You Are My Only by Beth Kephart

This book is one I’ve been anticipating for months and guess what? It doesn’t come out until October 2011! Oh, the torture! I’ve already made it well known that I’m a HUGE Beth Kephart fan and so I won’t go on and on, hopefully in an effort not to embarrass myself more. Seriously, though, there are just some authors who attain “rock star” status and Beth’s writing is just that good. Okay, enough already! When Beth posted this the other day though, I knew I had to share it with you! Take a look, the synopsis is stunning and I’m absolutely in love with the cover…

Emmy Rane is married at nineteen , a mother by twenty. Trapped in a life with a husband she no longer loves, Baby is her only joy. Then one sunny day in September, Emmy takes a few fateful steps away from her baby and returns to find her missing. All that is left behind is a yellow sock. Fourteen years later, Sophie, a homeschooled, reclusive teenage girl is forced to move frequently and abruptly from place to place, perpetually running from what her mother calls the “No Good.” One afternoon, Sophie breaks the rules, ventures out, and meets Joey and his two aunts. It is this loving family that opens Sophie’s eyes, giving her the courage to look into her past. What she discovers changes her world forever…

The riveting stories of Emmy and Sophie—alternating narratives of loss, imprisonment, and freedom regained—escalate with breathless suspense toward an unforgettable climax.

So, have you added it to your Goodreads wish-list yet? Go on…I’ll wait…

Okay, good! Now, tell me, which of Beth’s novels have you read or are dying to read? If you haven’t read one yet, why not?
