There's A Book

As anyone who knows me already knows, I am a huge Shaun Tan fan (yes, that rhymes, lol). When I was at ALA Midwinter last week one of my most exciting finds was a copy of his upcoming release Lost and Found: Three which comes out in April this year. Quite seriously I was jumping up and down when I saw they had copies available and it was one of the first books in my to-read pile when we arrived home.

So, when I saw this trailer posted in conjunction with the original The Lost Thing over at Slightly addicted to fiction, I knew I had to share it with my readers. The illustrations, as you can tell from the short trailer, are beyond gorgeous. Tan’s attention to detail is breathe taking. Now, not only can you read his dozen or so graphic novels that are available, but there is now a short film version of The Lost Thing that this trailer is primarily for. Just yesterday it won at Flickerfest in Australia out of nearly 1800 entries! Take a look…

Really just stunning don’t you think?

For more Shaun Tan graphic novels and info check out his personal website. In the meantime, if you liked the trailer and want to pick up a book or two you may want to check these out…

Now you tell me…What do you think? Will you be picking up a Shaun Tan graphic novel soon or have you already? Which one?
