There's A Book

This fabulous weekly recap is hosted by Shelia of One Persons Journey Through a World of Books. Each week we recap what we’ve read and look at what’s coming up this week. If you’re interested head over to Shelia’s site and get involved! It’s a blast and I may even stop by to see what you’re up to!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

There’s only one word that comes to mind this week when looking back…migraine. Okay, maybe “migraine city”, so two words. Yeah, it’s impossible to believe that for a full solid week I had an awful disgusting migraine. ugh. I’m hoping this is just my body adjusting after surgery and this will be the last for a while. *fingers crossed*

Besides the awfulness of the migraine I still managed to have a record posting week. Combined with my reviews & posts at Chick Lit Reviews and News I had almost 20 posts this week. Hello, insanity! Wow! Well, there just aren’t enough days in the week. There’s my defense.

Also, on a very positive note…I was interviewed by the fabulous Anne R. Allen who is an incredible author and is picking up where Nathan Bransford left off. She asked all about book bloggers and reviewing! So, if you are a book blogger and want to add your two cents or just see what I had to say then take a look at the interview when you have a second!

Hopefully you had a fantastic week! I can’t wait to hear about it!

I’ll have to check out The Monster Who Did My Math. Sounds perfect for my son.

I finished a bunch of books that I had been reading throughout October. Most books on my list took about a month to read. Please come see what I am reading now.

  7. Ooooh this upcoming week looks great! Enjoy. :O)

  8. Congrats on the interview! I’m popping over to have a look right now.

  9. Wow, I just don’t know how you manage to do everything! Hope the migraines go away.

  10. Julie says:

So sorry to hear about your migraine. I’ve been sick all week and had a horrible migraine on Friday. It’s not fun! Lots of Dots looks like something my daughter would love. I hope you feel better and have a good week of reading!

  11. Teddyree says:

I’m sympathising greatly, hope you feel better soon. Surgery & illness knocks your body around terribly so I’m sure you’re right, once you’re fully recovered everything will settle. I’m pain free after a month of hideous head pain so I can relate.

You did get lots done though so that’s a bonus.
Here’s to a feeling better week, hope it’s awesome and happy reading of course :)

  12. Jasper says:

I know how the feeling of having a migraine! It feels like someone is getting a jack hammer inside my head. Pain reliever is the only remedy for that.
