Olivia by Ian Falconer
Have fun with Olivia…
dressing up
singing songs
building sand castles
napping (maybe)
dancing
painting on walls
and — whew! —
going to sleep at last.
The Olivia the Pig site is adorable and you really must take a look!
As a sidenote, our favorite version of this has been the board book. We’ve been able to enjoy it for years now because of it’s durability!

Ya know, I don’t think I’ve ever read this.
We love it! This one has been read numerous times by both kiddos.
I like this one, but I”m not a fan of the subsequent Olivia books.
I’ve actually only read this one and the very short counting one, but both are huge hits here in our home. Maybe we’ll have to try the others from the library first. Thanks!
Sadly, my girls never got into Olivia but we did manage to read one of the books. I do love a strong, spunky girl character though! Will have to try again with my little boy!
I was surprised, but my son actually loved Olivia more than my daughter did initially. You just never know for sure what kids will gravitate to.
My kids love reading a lot and they always want something new. They already have a small collection and aim to fill more books in their mini library. I will give your recommendation a try.
