There's A Book

Good morning/afternoon all! How is Bloggiesta treating you? Hopefully you’re picking up speed and getting a ton marked off your to-do lists. And how about all of those mini-challenges? Not only do the previous Bloggiesta mini-challenges rock, but take a look at the new list if you haven’t yet! Amazing! You’ve all got your work cut out for you, that’s for sure!

So, perhaps with all that work you’re in need of a mid-day/morning break? Well, Suey and I both thought that at some point you’re going to need a bit of a respite. So we’ve come up with a challenge that will benefit not only yourself but your fellow Bloggiesta participants!

A Comment Challenge!

Here goes…all weekend long we’d love you to visit and comment on as many of your fellow participants blogs as possible. It’s even better when they’re blogs you’ve never been to before or don’t normally comment on. Each day we want you to comment on a minimum of five participant blogs, if you do more than fantastic! Below use the Rafflecopter entry form to register that you commented each day. At the end of the weekend, on the 2nd of April we’ll announce the winner of a $20 Gift Card to Amazon (or one book of your choice at Book Depository for International participants) and a runner up who will receive a random stack of ARC’s from my current stacks!

That’s it! Go comment and cheer on your fellow participants! Happy Bloggiesta!

This contest is now closed. Click below to see who won!

Now that you’re done here, go check out Sheila from Book Journey’s Bloggiesta Mini-Challenge About Building Your Blog Readers! Her challenge is marvelous and she’s definitely an expert! She typically has dozens of comments on each of her posts, so head over and read how she does it! She’s also giving away two Amazon GC’s there as well!

I’m loving Bloggiesta! Even though I don’t have a lot of time to devote to my blog this week, I still feel like I’m getting a lot done. It’s great.

Thanks for co-hosting, and thanks for the awesome giveaway!

P.S. I’m a little freaked out that your captcha task is to drag a knife to the bathroom. Lol. I’m shaking for the poor woman currently in the shower! ;)

    • You are so welcome! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. It’s really one of my favorite events! :)

Isn’t the captcha hilarious?! I love it! So much more than the letters & numbers you can’t read. LOL

  9. Penelope says:

Oh man, I didn’t read the task for the comment entry before I left my last comment. A blog I found because of Bloggiesta is NovelSounds! (http://novelsounds.net) It’s such a cool concept!

  20. I’ve actually gone through quite a number of sites, but I’d probably highlight just a few here: like getting to know LeeSwammes’ Blog and her Books, Food, and More. I’m amazed at how much she has accomplished. Then there’s Florinda from the 3Rs Blog whose Mobilize Challenge I joined. I also got to know quite a few thru Twitter such as Kathe Reader. Hope to do more commenting tomorrow.

  23. PragmaticMom says:

    Great idea. Comment task!

  24. Kristin T. says:

I’m using this challenge as a break from writing reviews today. The only problem with visiting everyone is that I keep finding new things to add to my list…but that’s ok. It’s always good to see what everyone is doing and see if what they are doing would work with my blog.

Thanks again for hosting this challenge and this event!!!

    • Oh, I know! I kept discovering more and more I wanted to do. Not just from their lists, but by seeing everyone else’s great blogs. ;)

You’re so welcome! Glad to have you!

  25. I discovered NOVEL SOUNDS and I love it. Music and books are two of my favourite things. :)

  26. Laurie C says:

I’ve been trying to check out Bloggiesta participants’ blogs and leave comments without even knowing there was a mini-challenge on the table, so what a nice surprise!

I commented on 5 blogs and discovered 2 blogs with my favourite word in their title, CHOCOLATE!

    Epic Chocolate Fantasy
    Chocolate Covered Books

  29. Nise' says:

The mini-challenges are great! I got a lot accomplished just by participating in the challenges. Thanks.

  30. Liza says:
