There's A Book

Limelight Larry by Leigh Hodgkinson

This book is FANTASTIC beause it is all about Limelight Larry. In fact, it is SO fantastic that Larry doesn’t think there’s any room on the pages for anyone but him! But after kicking everyone out, Larry wonders what IS the point of showing off all by yourself?

Not only am I a huge fan of Leigh Hodgkinson’s illustrations and writing, but this book begs to be told to a three to five year old child. Personally I can think of two kiddos who may need to come to the realization that the world doesn’t always revolve around them. Haha. This is a great book to show it’s nice to include others without being too over the top. We love this book! Plus, Leigh’s blog is absolutely adorable and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who is even remotely crafty or interested in crafty-goodness.
