The Year of the Picture Book: Special Nerdy Book Club Edition

Today is a very special edition of The Year of the Picture Book because I’m sharing a very personal story about where my love for these wonderful books came from over at the Nerdy Book Club. It’s an honor to write for the Nerdy Book Club and I’m excited to be even a small part of what they’re doing to spread the love of books beyond our small little sphere of the internet. Trucks, Trucks, Trucks by Peter Sís

Peter Sís is also the author and/or illustrator for over fifty other books from picture books to adult books. One of which is the first in this series, Fire Truck. Also, he was the illustrator for the beautiful middle grade novel by Pam Muñoz Ryan, The Dreamer. Both are definitely worth the time spent reading. Enjoy!
