There's A Book

What Sisters Do Best by Laura Joffe Numeroff and Illustrated by Lynn Munsinger

Published by Chronicle Books on July 25, 2012 in Board Book format.

In this delightful board book, renowned author-illustrator team Laura Numeroff and Lynn Munsinger celebrate all the wonderful things sisters can do together, from climbing trees and sharing snacks to starting a game of tag and making music. But what do sisters do best? The answer is clear in these appealing board books! With charming text and adorable illustrations, these are sure to appeal to any child who hasโ€”or wishes forโ€”a sister.

This series from the author that brought us If You Give A Mouse a Cookie is absolutely adorable! Being that I have two younger sisters I’m partial to the “sisters” version of this series obviously, but I also love that the series doesn’t just focus on one specific relationship. Thanks to Chronicle Books this series is now being brought to board book format and I’m thrilled about this news. I only wish it would have happened when my kiddos were a little younger and devouring books was practically an Olympic sport!

This series has a number of other books including ones that feature grandpas, aunts, uncles, puppies and a lot more. Take a look:
