There's A Book

Today I’ve got a really fun giveaway for everyone! Recently released 3D stop-motion comedy thriller ParaNorman is one I’ve been looking forward to all summer. It’s premise is hilarious and of course, there are zombies and ghosts! Yes! Can I say this is exactly the type of movie I would have loved as a kid? Turkeybird may be a little too young just yet, but his dad and I will be previewing it to test the “scary” factor before he watches it himself. Though he’s already been asking about it! Take a look at the trailer to get a preview of this hilarious new movie:

About the Film

In ParaNorman, a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee), who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst, of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

The new 3D stop-motion comedy thriller from animation company LAIKA,
reteaming the company with Focus Features after the groundbreaking Academy

second stop-motion animated feature to be made in 3D.

Starring
Kodi Smit-McPhee, Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick, John Goodman, Leslie Mann,
Jeff Garlin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Elaine Strich, Tempestt Bledsoe,

My favorite children’s book to movie would have to be ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. I’ve always loved the simplicity and innocence of the story, as Max runs into an amazing place, filled with monsters who accept him as King. It’s so wild, and fun! I’ve seen the movie many times, and I now own the movie on DVD and bluray. It’s sad to know that the author of the book has passed away… at least in memory of them was this amazing story and movie, for everyone to see. :)
