There's A Book

Guinea Pig Party by Holly Surplice

Count from 10 and back again with the sweetest-ever guinea pigs! The guinea pigs are having a party, and like many children’s birthday parties, things aren’t going perfectly. But in the end everyone has a good time and the party is a success! Based on a familiar counting rhyme and combining numbers and cute animals, this book makes a perfect birthday gift.
Parties may have a few mishaps, but you can always count on guinea pig fun!

Holly Surplice is a new illustrator/author to our family, but I’m completely sold. Her illustrations are gorgeously whimsical and who could possibly say no to a partying or dancing guinea pig? Littlebug is still working on nailing down all of her numbers and so this is one we’ll be picking up soon. Not only because of that, but also because Littlebug is a sucker for a great party. Love it!

If you have a minute I’d highly recommend perusing Holly’s blog. It’s absolutely delightful and showcases some of her beautiful artwork. Plus, you can stop by to say congratulations on her recent addition to her family!
