This week was a little slower than last week on the posting front, but that was most likely because life was crazy too. I’m helping with the planning for next year’s Central Coast Writer’s Conference again and loving that. If you know any California based authors that would be interested in participating send them my way! Besides that we just enjoyed the long weekend and being migraine free this week! Wahoo! Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

There’s only one word that comes to mind this week when looking back…migraine. Okay, maybe “migraine city”, so two words. Yeah, it’s impossible to believe that for a full solid week I had an awful disgusting migraine. ugh. I’m hoping this is just my body adjusting after surgery and this will be the last for a while. *fingers crossed*

Besides the awfulness of the migraine I still managed to have a record posting week. Combined with my reviews & posts at Chick Lit Reviews and News I had almost 20 posts this week. Hello, insanity! Wow! Well, there just aren’t enough days in the week. There’s my defense.

Also, on a very positive note…I was interviewed by the fabulous Anne R. Allen who is an incredible author and is picking up where Nathan Bransford left off. She asked all about book bloggers and reviewing! So, if you are a book blogger and want to add your two cents or just see what I had to say then take a look at the interview when you have a second!

Busy as usual around these parts. We’ve been getting ready for Halloween and are now amping up for our second round of trick-or-treating tonight. Turkeybird and Littlebug cannot wait! Other than that, just the usual.

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

Busy. Yep. Busy busy busy. I find it hard to believe I posted six reviews as well as a number of interviews this week. Wow! Well, it feels good to be back in the swing of things and I’m excited for the coming week. We are mostly reading spooky things here this week with a couple of exceptions, but the kiddos are very excited for Halloween!

Make sure to check out my favorite post this week…an Editor Interview with Carol Hinz from Lerner Publishing Group! It was fantastic getting a look “behind the scenes” at the publishing process, so please don’t miss it!

Some fantastic things happened this week! Unfortunately, not much on my site, but that’s really okay.

This week we got the news that thanks to some amazing book bloggers (YOU!) Beth Kephart’s book, You Are My Only, went into a second print run!!! I’m beyond thrilled to hear about this because Beth and her gorgeous book definitely deserve it. This has been a fantastic week! I haven’t gotten much done, but I did get the news that I don’t have cancer and that was worth it’s weight in gold. So wow! Now I feel like I need to be accomplishing more and filling up all those extra days I get to enjoy. For now though, I’m going to focus on recovering from my surgery, enjoying my family and of course…reading lots of fabulous books!
