Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

So, do you ever do something so incredibly preposterous and then wonder what the heck you were thinking? Yeah, I can’t be the only one right? Well, my hubby and I decided to “commit” to the entire shebang that is P90X including the diet. To be honest the workouts were actually really good and I’m going to keep them up. The diet on the other hand…not so good. For most of the week I had a raging headache that turned into a migraine thanks to zero carbs. So, nope, not continuing that side of things. I’ll keep eating healthy, but I’m not going to rage into the all-protein area anytime in the near future.

Other than a case of the crazies we had a decent week and I’m starting a new feature today that I’m really excited for! I’ve also been able to read quite a bit, which is always nice. How about you? Do any crazy something this week or read a great book?

It’s been a fantastic couple of weeks. I decided to take it easy the last couple of weeks and it was a much needed break. Our family had a wonderful Christmas and a wonderfully quiet New Years. I’m looking forward to the coming year and all that it entails, including going to BEA which was a wonderful surprise Christmas present. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! Did you get the chance to read many good books? I’d love to hear about it!

This is actually going to cover the last couple of weeks because I missed out on last week due to a sinus infection/migraine. Lets just say that I’ve had it with health issues and 2011, I’m so ready to start 2012 with a fresh start! What about you?

As for the rest of the week, it’s been great! I started my “Twelve Days of Christmas” with some of my favorite bloggers and it’s been going wonderfully! I’m looking forward to rolling out the next week of my favorites as well as quite a few reviews before the end of the year!

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week has been busy! I’ve begun deliberations for both the Cybils category I’m judging for as well as the INSPYs category and so far things are going great. There are truly so many great books out there that it’s making deciding which to pick so tough, but it’s a fun process.

Other than that I’m still recovering from migraines and such, but doing better after a trip to the chiropractor. Well enough that I was able to go to a book signing with Jay Asher, author of 13 Reasons Why and The Future of Us! He lives locally and so it’s nice to be able to support some fantastic local talent.

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week:

This week started out with high expectations and quickly sunk under the heavy load of yet another migraine. What’s the deal there? Anywho…I managed to escape it just in time for Thanksgiving and decided to take the rest of the weekend “off” the blog. Thankfully I had a fabulous holiday with my little family and then on Saturday celebrated my birthday! We had a great weekend and I got some fantastic gifts too (The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, was one of them and it’s amazing!)! So, even with the migraine city it was still a great week! How about you?

It’s been a crazy busy week around here! We had a brand new nephew born this week and we were thrilled for his arrival. We also headed down to the LA area to attend a race for both my hubby and the Turkeybird called the Spartan Race. They both had a blast even if my hubby is still recovering from scrapes and torn up legs (just click on the race to see what I’m talking about). Besides that it’s of course been a typically busy reading week, which is always fantastic news! How about you?
